Jackson County, Michigan

The Enterprise Group was created to stop faltering economic development efforts in Jackson County, Michigan. This “one stop center” serves existing and relocating businesses by bringing Jackson’s business service organizations under the same management. The Jackson Nonprofit Support Center meets the needs of nonprofit organizations that face a higher demand for services, despite dwindling resources. The Center promotes nonprofit management and service delivery in Jackson County, as well as offers workshops and events designed to enhance collaboration and community involvement. Jackson County’s Promise to Youth Alliance focuses on keeping five promises to youth. Community organizations, local government, faith-based organizations and businesses collaborate in this effort, while promoting and encouraging continued community involvement.
