The Dolan Family Health Center is a privately funded facility providing affordable and accessible primary care to the uninsured and underinsured population of Huntington, New York. The program provides critical preventive care and is staffed by medical professionals trained to meet the needs of a culturally and linguistically diverse population. Tri Community Youth Agency Youth Centers serve at-risk families located in areas with high dropout rates, child abuse cases, teen pregnancies, and families with limited English skills. The Centers provide a supervised environment with positive role models where youth become planners and developers of programs. The Huntington Station Enrichment Center is a resource center for the economic empowerment of ethnically diverse and underprivileged families. Two of its programs include a site for day laborers that allows them access to a selection of employment services, and a partnership with the State University of New York at Farmingdale where applicants to the nurses program provide health screening and testing.
