Fairhope, Alabama

Fairhope's Comprehensive Plan is a growth plan designed to preserve the city's character and unique heritage while allowing necessary increases in public services and commercial and residential development. The Environmental Stewardship is a host of initiatives working to keep untreated waste water and sewage out of the bay, reduce the use of pesticides, encourage household and commercial recycling, and reduce garbage and yard waste. Fairhope's Founders Park, a 28-acre softball and soccer complex, is the city's first recreational development located between the old and new Fairhope and provides a perfect addition to the city's growing recreational programs and a great link to the past.
