Fountain, Colorado

A planning series entitled "A Great Place to Live" addressed the growing population in the community through an inclusive planning process, including a new comprehensive plan, the process sought the opinions of residents, community organizations, government, and business leaders. The Community Center houses a diverse group of educational , recreational and health and human services, providing much-needed resources to Fountain Valley residents. Community Policing was created to help alleviate juvenile crime and enhance resources to develop healthy, positive activities for children and young adults, such as a skate park, a Youth Council, and Neighborhood Watch Programs.
