The Casa Otonal Intergenerational Community Campus, which consists of a 104-unit apartment building, a renovated historical house, is the site of child development training programs, a community center, a three-family house with apartments for grandparents raising their grandchildren, and a strong thrift shop, has become a vital force for neighborhood change. The International Festival of Arts & Ideas creates, manages and facilitates intergenerational community programs that empower City neighborhoods through arts participation, reflecting their diverse identities and focusing on social and economic regeneration. School-Based Health Centers, is an initiative that improves the health of the City's youngest citizens by calling on the expertise of New Haven's acclaimed health care providers, who are committed to delivering services in the heart of New Haven's public schools.
