The Everett Station Transportation Center provides solid solutions in that it responds successfully to increasingly difficult congestion issues in western Washington, combining transportation solutions with higher education and career development. The Wiggums Hollow renewal project built urgently needed, accessible facilities, including a playground, walking path, picnic areas, playfield, gardens, plaza and an outdoor classroom for neighboring schools that will double in use as a weekend picnic shelter for families. Cocoon House was founded with the express mission of sheltering, and providing intervention and prevention services to homeless, runaway, throwaway, and disconnected youth, to help them mature and move toward self-sufficiency.
