The Ageless Hearts Home/Alzheimer's Wing at the Good Samaritan Center
is a much-needed addition to the care of Ravenna's elderly. Area elderly with
mental deficiencies due to Alzheimer's or Dementia now have a caring place close
to home where their family can visit and be sure their loved one is well cared
for. Seneca Sunrise, an assisted and independent living facility provides
three nutritious meals daily, weekly housekeeping and laundry, transportation,
and assistance with bathing, dressing, and transferring. A new youth center
is being built in Ravenna and all children will have easy access to it without
having to drive, ride a bike, or walk a long distance to another location. The
facility will contain a computer lab, a room for meetings, a larger 30 x 60
square foot portion will provide an area to watch a big screen TV, play games,
have dances, and movie nights.
