PROGRAM ALERT: AMBASSADORS IN EDUCATION AWARD

Please be advised that a serious communication error has transpired; many teachers were improperly notified that they won the MetLife Foundation Ambassadors in Education Award. Instead, teachers should have been notified that they were among the elite list of finalists.

The National Civic League accepts responsibility for the error and we deeply regret the embarrassment it has caused these excellent teachers and their schools, the program, and its sponsor - MetLife Foundation.
