ANR Guide: Directory of Partners & Resources for Community Building
NCL Staff
Alliance
for National Renewal Partners represent a broad cross-section of organizations
that you can contact to find out about community renewal activities and programs.
As you browse through the alphabet, you will see the names of groups like
the Atlanta Project, the Communitarian Network, the Kettering Foundation,
the National Council of La Raza, and Youth Service America. These organizations
represent the vibrant diversity of our country, and they are committed to
finding a shared purpose in creating communities that work for everyone.
Because National Renewal is a movement, these groups all operate independently
to pursue their own goals. But they all believe we must come together to stem
the tide of social disintegration through community building. They engage
in a wide range of issues: education, economic development, the prevention
of drug abuse, the improvement of government, combating racial injustice,
strengthening the family, and fighting crime.
